FOLK singer Ralph McTell is tuning up for his latest performance - at the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr.
Best known for his song Streets of London, McTell has been one of the most influential singer songwriters on the world folk scene for almost 50 years.
McTell, who has written hundreds of songs and a musical on the life of Dylan Thomas, will take to the stage on May 4.
He has played all over the world, recorded dozens of albums and written two autobiographies.
