Indie rockers Glasvegas were at the Kelvingrove Band Stand in Glasgow today to reveal the line-up for this year's Magners Summer Nights festival.

James and Rab Allan from Glasvegas will play on Saturday, August 8 and a whole host of other names will take to the stage at Kelvingrove Band Stand including King Creosote, Roddy Frame, Joan Armatrading, Ben Fold & yMusic and Echo & The Bunnyman during the festival's run.

The festival, which debuted in Glasgow last summer, will also will run for three nights in Edinburgh on August 26 to 28 with bands James, the Flaming Lips and The Waterboys set to perform.

Both events will host a Magners Village incorporating a cider garden and premium street food with areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with friends. Gates will open at 6pm each night.

James Allan, lead singer of Glasvegas said: "There will be us; 'Glasvegas', there will be the best crowd in the world (no matter where you're from, everybody knows it)!

"Then our sound will start to build in a mid-summer sun setting over Glasgow, my dear gorgeous city! "Yeah, I'm excited at the thought of losing myself in the sound, melody and word...and yeah, also excited at the thought of you all getting lost in the music with us!"

"We've got a brilliant line-up again this year and we are excited to be extending the festival to Edinburgh to give even more opportunities to enjoy great music and Magners with mates."

Mark Mackie, of Regular Music, added: "Building on the success of the 2014 Magners Summer Nights, we are delighted to be returning to the beautiful Kelvingrove Bandstand for another year.

"2015 will see us travel east to Edinburgh where the Ross Bandstand will also play host to a series of unique Magners Summer Nights concerts during the world famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe."
