Paolo Nutini and Rita Ora are to star at BBC Radio 1's annual Big Weekend event as station bosses announced it will be staged in Glasgow this year.

The location was announced during Nick Grimshaw's breakfast show this morning which was broadcast from Glasgow after he and his team headed up yesterday afternoon.
