GLASGOW indie rock band Memory Man headline Broadcast today.

Fresh from a sell-out gig as part of the 25th birthday celebrations of King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, the band has barely had time to pause for breath after a hectic six months.

With two popular singles, an appearance on STV Glasgow's Riverside Show and even the possibility of a Eurovision Song Contest entry under their belts, the four-man band have had a busy start to the year.

The group comprises Stephen Connelly on lead vocals, ex-Grim Northern Social drummer Liam McAteer, former Red Light Company guitarist Paul Mellon and former Snow Patrol bassist Mark McLelland.

They have been together for less than a year, but have attracted positive feedback from the handful of gigs they have played so far.

Stephen said: "We are loving getting our music out there, and have been pleased with the reception so far. We've been likened to The Smiths, The Strokes, and The Pixies, but believe in carving out our own sound."

"We'll be cramming in as many gigs as we can over the next few months, and hope music fans come along and listen to what we have to offer."
