Prince has announced he will play his first Glasgow show in 19 years.
The purple one has scheduled four arena shows across the UK with 3rdEyeGirl including a date at the Glasgow SSE Hydro on Thursday, May 22.
These exclusive arena shows in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds are his first since his sold out residency at The O2 London in 2007.
This will be the first time Prince has ever performed in Leeds and is also the first time Prince has headlined a show in Birmingham and Glasgow in 19 years.
His Manchester show follows two nights at the Academy in February.
Twitter exploded with excited fans soon after the announcement was made.
Still Game's Sanjeev Kohli joked, "Prince coming to Glasgow! The Hydro! Will he bring a) The Revolution b) The New Power Generation or c) The Paisley Park Fleeto?"
Twitter user @summerasimpson tweeted, "Prince is playing in Glasgow next month!!!!!!!!!(but tickets are 71 quid) going to have a heart attack."
Rob Birrell tweeted: "Talk about last minute announcement! All year I have been hoping Prince would come here at some point, but going to miss it."
Tickets will go on sale midday, Friday, May 2, priced £71.50 - £137.50 (inc. admin fee) and will be available from www.thessehydro.com or 0844 395 4000.
