A man who police say stole Sir Elton John's famous heart-shaped glasses from a Memphis museum is behind bars.
Matthew Colvin, 26, was arrested in Southhaven, Mississippi, and will be extradited back to Memphis, WMC-TV reported.
The Rock 'n' Soul Museum reported on April 21 that an employee discovered the glasses had been taken out of a display case during business hours. An investigator lifted prints and matched them to Colvin.
Police said investigators called Colvin on Monday and he told them where the glasses were. They were able to retrieve them from a post box.
The glasses, valued at more than 2,000 US dollars (£1,300), are to go back on display today. Flamboyant glasses and outfits have been part of Sir Elton's signature look.
