SINGING sensation Nicola Cassells is making a second appearance at a prestigious flower show.
The Ayrshire songstress will be performing at Rozelle Park, in Ayr, this weekend to raise money for the restoration of the town's Gaiety Theatre.
The 24-year-old previously performed at the Evening Times Scotswoman of the Year awards and has been mentored by Scots chart star Sandi Thom.
She will perform both classical and popular songs during the flower show, which showcases the area's best flowers, fruit and veg.
Nicola said: "Everybody really enjoyed my performance last year and it was great to be asked back.
"I got some really good compliments after the last show.
"I've never ventured to doing Nessun Dorma before so I'm going to be attempting that at the flower show this weekend and some others."
All funds raised from the performance will be put towards the Gaiety Theatre fund, something which Nicola is passionate about.
She said: "It's one of these theatres that has been in Ayr for such a long time, and is a brilliant venue to perform in.
"It would be so sad to see it close after all the hard work people have been putting in recently."
