Scots DJ Calvin Harris has confirmed his first role in a movie - by appearing in the new Entourage trailer.

The 31-year-old had previously hinted on his official Instagram that he will star as himself in the Entourage big screen debut.

He is expected to appear within Adrian Grenier's actor character Vincent Chase fictional movie Hyde after he posted the 'movie' poster on his Instagram account with the caption, "Summer 2015."

The Outside star posted the trailer on his official Twitter account and said: "New trailer for #EntourageMovie! See if you can spot me."

The new trailer features a whole host of other big named stars including UFC champion Ronda Rousey, Jessica Alba, Russell Wilson, Liam Neeson, Pharrell, George Takei, Andrew Dice Clay, David Spade, Tom Brady, Ed O'Neil, Armie Hammer and Mark Wahlberg, who the series was based on.

The hunk will be joined by singers Ellie Goulding, John Newman, techno-funk group Disciples and Brighton-born, nu-disco artist Burns when he plays Bellahouston Park as part of the Glasgow Summer Sessions on Sunday, August 30.
