Scottish rockers Texas have announced a one-off gig at Glasgow's legendary music venue King Tut's Wah Wah Hut.

The group, who are celebrating their 25th year in music, will play the venue on Thursday, April 16.

It comes after the announced they will play the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on December 18.

The band are also already playing three sold out dates at the Royal Concert Hall in the city on April 22, 24 and 25 as part of their greatest hits tour.

Fans can expect to hear classic tunes like I Don't Want a Lover and Black Eyed Boy as well exclusive new tracks ahead of their headline UK tour, An Evening With Texas.

Texas are following in the footsteps of stars such as The View, Glasvegas and Paolo Nutini, who have all played sell-out shows for the Sunday Mail newspaper's Centenary Fund.
