ONE Direction star Zayn Malik has been angered by a US TV host's suggestion that drug use could have been a factor in the singer's absence from promotional commitments.
His four bandmates were asked by the Today Show's Matt Lauer about "rumours of substance abuse". Malik said he had been "ill".
