Grime artist Stormzy and writer and director Noel Clarke showed Brotherhood was more than just the name of their new film as they grabbed a selfie together at its world premiere.
The movie, which completes Noel’s trilogy of Kidulthood and Adulthood, is Stormzy’s feature film debut and he beamed as he walked the red carpet at Vue Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush.
Set a decade on from Adulthood, Sam Pell (Noel) is happily raising his daughter with girlfriend Kayla (Shanika Warren-Markland).
But Sam’s past comes back to haunt him as old enemies make a reappearance and threaten his family.
Also appearing at the premiere were Anuvahood actor Jason Maza, who stars as Daley, and Adulthood star Arnold Oceng, who reprises his role as Henry.
Singer Laura Mvula led the celebrities at the premiere, which included Celebrity Big Brother star Casey Batchelor, Made In Chelsea’s Ashley James and Love Island’s Malin Andersson.
Laura stunned in a slinky purple dress and knee-high strappy heels. She features on the film’s soundtrack alongside Stormzy, Krept & Konan and WSTRN.
Fan Ashley went wild on the red carpet in a skin-tight leopard print crop top and skirt.
Malin showed she’d left Terry Walsh far behind as she cosied up to her new mystery man on the red carpet.
Casey defied the heatwave to look cool in electric blue as she joined the stars on the carpet.
Brotherhood is in cinemas from August 29.
