Netflix have launched the trailer for their latest romantic comedy venture, Easy.
At first glance, Easy looks like many other romantic comedies that have come and gone before it. However about 10 seconds into the trailer, you quickly realise just how many A listers are in the show – Orlando Bloom, Dave Franco and Emily Ratajkowski to name just a few.
The series is set to explore eight couples living in Chicago, following the characters as they fumble through the modern maze of love, sex, technology and culture.
Easy is an anthology series from the director of Drinking Buddies, Joe Swanberg. The eight-episode series is also set to star New Girl’s Jake Johnson, as well as Hannibal Buress and Kate Micucci, among others.
Despite the star-studded cast the reaction online has been mixed, with some viewers claiming the show seems “unrealistic” and depicts an alternative universe where “everyone is perfect and everything is all about sex all the time”.
Conversely, “relatable” and “hilarious” are also words being used.
Either way we think it’ll be worth the watch and with only eight episodes it qualifies for a one day binge watch!
The series hits Netflix on September 22.
