Nobody was quite expecting that!
Last but not least on Saturday night’s X Factor “diva week” was singer Saara Alto, giving a rendition of Bjork’s It’s Oh So Quiet – while dressed as candyfloss and apparently being backed by the cast of Alice In Wonderland.
It was pretty weird, but after a night of some quite serious vocal performances, a little theatre went down really well.
Don’t get us wrong, everyone DID think it was nuts…
…including X Factor 2011′s own – and equally colourful – finalist Kitty Brucknell.
But it was nuts in a good way…
…sort of.
But even though the Finnish singer has faced some criticism for her talent, and has been rumoured to have had a bit of a wobble with mentor and judge Sharon Osbourne, for many viewers it was Saara’s best performance to date.
In fact, some reckon she is just what the show needs…
All in all: Nice one, Saara!
