Taylor Swift has not been on stage much since her 1989 tour wrapped at the end of 2015, but she was back at it for her first full concert of 2016 during the Formula 1 US Grand Prix.
Tay hit the stage in Austin, Texas, to tear through a string of her smash hits, but then treated the crowd to a stripped-down version of This Is What You Came For, the track she wrote with her then-boyfriend Calvin Harris and which was recorded by Rihanna.
Taylor didn’t initially reveal she was the co-writer of the hit single, but news emerged after her split from Calvin and she was connected to her songwriting alias Nils Sjoberg.
Taylor wrapped up her last full concert in December 2015 when her tour ended in Australia but was back on fine form to perform to 80,000 people at Austin’s Super Stage.
She shared a string of snaps from the concert on Instagram thanking fans for their love.
Earlier in the week she shared some videos of her rehearsals as she prepared for the show, including a run-through of We Are Never Getting Back Together.
Welcome back Tay!
