Vintage daftness, biting satire and a pub landlord are just some of the acts joining the epitome of impersonators for a Llandudno comedy fringe festival.
Award-winning Radio 4 show Dead Ringers will headline the Craft of Comedy UK Fringe with a recording in front of a Venue Cymru audience as part of a five-night comedy convention.
Joining Dead Ringers Jon Culshaw, Debra Stephenson and Jan Ravens on June 14 will be honorary Python and former Rutle Neil Innes, 'pub landlord' Al Murray and Marcus Brigstocke. There will be a series of double bill performances at the Llandudno’s Tabernacle from June 15-19, including Stand-up at The Seaside featuring Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Noel James and Ignacio Lopez.
Do You Think That’s Wise – The Life and Times of John Le Mesurier, will be performed by Julian Dutton on June 17, while Robin Ince of BBC radio show The Infinite Monkey Cage will stage his new stand-up show on June 18.
Pragmatic Insanity on June 18 presents a joyous, 60-minute romp shared with Mrs Barbara Nice, the comedy creation of performer and writer Janice Connolly – otherwise known as Holy Mary in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights.
Closing the fringe festival in the last double bill will be Angela Barnes and Nick Revell.
