Sally Field and Bill Pullman will star in a production of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons at the Old Vic, it has been announced.
The Oscar winner and the Independence Day actor will play Kate and Joe Keller in the production in spring 2019, directed by Jeremy Herrin.
Set in America in 1947, All My Sons tells the story of a couple who are a success story despite making tough choices and surviving hard knocks, including the loss of their eldest son in the war.
They have built a home, raised two sons and established a thriving business but their lives are about to shatter with the return of a figure from the past.
Long-buried truths will be forced to the surface and the price of their American dream is laid bare.
Further casting and dates for the production are yet to be announced.
