WHAT do Gail Porter, Suzie McGuire, Lorraine Macintosh, Julie Wilson Nimmo and Libby MacArthur have in common.

This surprise group of Scots talent will appear in a new comedy stage show in the New Year.

And they are all mums, which is just as well because they are set to appear in Mums the Word.

The original show told of five mums' experiences of bringing up baby.

Glasgow Times:

Now the new version features the Scots mothers talking about their colourful life and times with their teenage offspring.

A spokesman for the show said: "We've pulled together a great selection of talent for this show.

"Gail is hot from the Big Brother house, Suzie is rebuilding her career after a lengthy court case and Lorraine and Libby have shown what they can do in River City.

"Julie is of course a Balamory - and panto star.

"But of course all of the ladies are mums, in fact Libby and Lorraine were in the first version of the show back in 2002.

"All of them will bring a real truth and heartfelt experience to the show."

Mums the Word, the Kings Theatre, January 26-30 and the Beacon Greenock February 12-13.
