Max McKerrell, 8, from Langside Primary met the stars of the Citizens Theatre’s Christmas show, Rapunzel on Friday 11 December 2016. Max entered the Citizens Theatre’s annual competition to design the theatre’s Christmas programme cover. Entries were received from primary pupils from all over the city, with Max’s design picked as the winner by the cast of the show. As well as seeing his design printed on 15,000 programmes, Max won free tickets for his whole class to come and see the show, and a signed copy of his design signed by the cast of Rapunzel.
Rapunzel is the Citizens Theatre’s alternative, feisty and punky theatrical treat this Christmas and runs until 3 January. Child tickets start at £8, and there are a range of family concession prices for groups of 3, 4 and 5. For full performance information and to book tickets, visit citz.co.uk
