CLYDEBANK comedian Kevin Bridges has revealed he is moving to Spain for two months.
The 29-year-old said he plans to learn Spanish and take a break after his 16-night run at Glasgow’s Hydro.
He told telly host Jonathan Ross he wants to recharge his batteries following his tour.
On the ITV show, which airs tomorrow night, Kevin said: "It’s always interested me, languages.
"If you want to keep doing stand-up for years and years you need to go away and live a bit of a lie, keep yourself fresh.
"I’ve booked into go and study in Spain.
"I’m over for eight weeks. I can say things in Spanish that Spanish people can say in English. I’ve nailed the tourist stuff."
The Scottish Sun reported Kevin also spoke about his new fitness regime.
He said: "I went to a personal trainer guy and he asked me what I had for breakfast and I said, ‘Toast mate,’ and he said, ‘That’s too starchy.’
"He’s telling me to eat a steak and eggs. How the heck can that be healthier than a bit of toast?"
