YOUNG dancers strut their stuff in the city at the launch of a top Irish dance competition.

More than 2000 talented performers will take to the stage at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the All Scotland Irish Dance Championships.

The six to 25-year-olds from all over the world have gathered to compete for medals ahead of the World Championships in London in April.

They showed off their skills on the steps of the Concert Hall in Buchanan Street to open the five-day extravaganza.
