X FACTOR star Melanie Masson is to join John Barrowman and The Krankies on stage at this year's SECC pantomime.
Melanie became a household name after being mentored by Gary Barlow in the 2012 season of the ITV reality show. She will take the role of Fairy Godmother.
But it won't be her first experience of the big stage. Melanie has performed in the West End in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice in the title role of LV.
Melanie was recently nominated for a Capital FM/Scottish Variety Award for best newcomer and is currently working on her first solo album.
Cinderella is at the SECC Clyde Auditorium from December 13.
