FILMING for a new £50million American TV show has taken over George Square.
The show, Outlander, has filmed across Scotland, including in Pollok Park, and Glasgow's civic heart is the latest in a series of locations to be featured.
Based on the best-selling novels of US author Diana Galbaldon, the show follows the adventures of a 20th century nurse, Claire Randall.
Claire is played by Irish model and actress Caitriona Balfe, as she travels back through time from 1946 to 17th century Scotland.
Doune Castle and Loch Rannoch, in Perthshire, and Culross, Fife, have also been used to film scenes for the drama.
The first screening on US TV is on August 9.
