Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman is to whip up a dancefloor frenzy with a six-hour stint of frantic footwork for Comic Relief.
She will be the host of the first Comic Relief Danceathon, taking place at London's SSE Arena at Wembley, with other events being staged at locations across the country.
Other celebrities who will be involved by taking a slot on the dancefloor in the non-stop extravaganza at Wembley include former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, past contestants Chelsee Healey and Rachel Riley, together with It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball.
Radio presenter Jo Whiley, comic Rufus Hound and Got to Dance's Adam Garcia and Kimberly Wyatt will also be involved.
More than 2,000 people will be dancing without a break at the flagship event, with the dance style changing every 30 minutes, ranging from jive to disco, street dance to Latin moves in an effort to boost moneymaking efforts for Red Nose Day.
Winkleman said: "This just might be the greatest day of our lives. Wherever you live in the UK, if you like dancing, we'd love you to take part in the Comic Relief Danceathon. I am ridiculously excited."
More details about the event will be at www.rednoseday.com/danceathon.
