THE 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who has set a world record for the world's largest simulcast of a TV drama.
The show, starring Paisley-born David Tennant, set an official world record after being broadcast in 94 countries across six continents on Saturday following a global publicity campaign.
The episode was also screened in 1500 cinemas worldwide, including in the UK, US, Russia and Scandinavia.
