tribute have been paid to actor to Ray Lonnen - a familiar face from dramas such as Harry's Game and The Sandbaggers - who has died at the age of 74.
Lonnen had a screen career stretching more than half a century with appearances in Z Cars, Doctor Who, Rich Tea And Sympathy, Crossroads and voicing the animated series Budgie The Little Helicopter.
He continued to work despite being diagnosed with cancer three years ago.
Tara Ward, Lonnen's wife of 20 years, said: "Ray was a gentle man who showed great strength in his final years."
One of his biggest TV hits was the 1982 IRA manhunt thriller Harry's Game, in which he played British soldier Captain Harry Brown who goes undercover in Belfast to capture a republican gunman.
