Fever Pitch writer Nick Hornby is penning his first TV drama - based on the memoirs of a nanny who worked for some of the leading lights of literary London.
Love, Nina will go out on BBC1 over five half-hour episodes and is adapted from Nina Stibbe's award-winning book of the same name.
Her book, based around her letters home to Leicestershire, recounted her time as nanny to the editor of the London Review Of Books in north London in the 1980s and features appearances by writers including Alan Bennett and Jonathan Miller.
Hornby, whose books include About A Boy and High Fidelity, said: "Love, Nina has already attained the status of a modern classic, and I am so happy that I've been given the opportunity to adapt it. We want to make a series that is as charming, funny and delightful as Nina Stibbe's glorious book."
Love, Nina won the 2014 National Book Award for non-fiction book of the year.
