A CANCER charity said EastEnders is helping "break down one of the biggest taboos around men's health" after the soap unveiled its latest storyline.
Viewers discovered Timothy West's character Stan Carter has prostate cancer in a plot hailed as a potential "lifesaver" after he told his family he had refused treatment for it.
Prostate Cancer UK's Karen Sumpter said they had done a fantastic job.
