FRUSTRATED fellow coaches have dubbed Sir Tom Jones the "King of Wales" for his ability to entice Welsh wannabes onto his team in the BBC1 show The Voice.
They fear they do not have a chance when they are competing to persuade anyone from the Green Green Grass Of Home singer's homeland if they are up against him.
On the show the coaches pitch to the contestants to grab them for their team if they like what they hear during the blind auditions.
In this Saturday's edition of the programme, viewers will see peeved Will.i.am ask one contestant "are you Welsh?" after all four coaches spin their chairs after being impressed.
Will then complains: "How can I compete against the King of Wales?"
Sir Tom can be seen during the auditions wearing a ring bearing the Welsh dragon as he proudly shows off his roots.
