The Voice coach Will.i.am is so taken with hippy-ish duo Billy Bottle And Martine that he heads on stage to take a selfie with the wannabes in tonight's edition of the show.

The married couple - who are naturists and do nude modelling for art classes - enchant the panel on the BBC1 programme after performing a version of Snap's The Power.

And Will finds them so entertaining that he whips out his tablet to follow them on Twitter during the blind audition stage of the show in front of the studio audience.

He then heads on stage and grabs a picture as the pair, who live on a farm in Newton Abbot in Devon, pose on either side of him.

New coach Rita Ora appears bewildered by the couple, asking: "Do you guys, like, live outside?"

And she goes on: "So are you guys hippies?"

Violinist and singer Martine Waltier tells her: "We're more free-spirited."

And explaining their love of nudity, she tells the panel: "We just go to beaches and clubs."

During the programme, the pair are seen naked in a life-drawing class with their instruments and cherry-topped Bakewell tarts to preserve their modesty for a pre-watershed audience.

Waltier, who is teasingly referred to as "Martini Bottle" by the coaches, explained: "We enjoy being naked in all environments that allow us to be."

Another hopeful on the show is Marc Armstrong who is a friend of The Voice presenter Marvin Humes, as well as being a cousin of Humes's former JLS bandmate, JB Gill.

Other contestants include Tom Carpenter, from Frome, Somerset, who was diagnosed with Tourette's eight years ago but and has raised £12,000 for a charity which supports sufferers of the condition through his gigs.

He previously featured in a BBC3 documentary Tourette's: Let Me Entertain You and his brother is a Radio 2 producer.
