THE new face of BBC wildlife has told how she was reduced to a blubbering wreck after being introduced to her hero Sir David Attenborough - and had to be led away by bewildered minders.

Lucy Cooke, who presents BBC1's Talk To The Animals next week, said that she was so overawed by the occasion she burst into tears and started speaking gibberish.
