THE cast of Glow have said the show isn’t as glamorous as people think.

The reality series, which airs every Thursday at 9pm via a dedicated website and app, has been hailed as the city’s answer to TOWIE.

Critics, however, have previously said the show is too glamorous and doesn’t show the real Glasgow.

But stars James English, 33, from Possilpark; Dean Doyle, 31, from Drumchapel and Joanne Ferry, 26, from Paisley, hit back during a live interview on the Evening Times Facebook page yesterday.

Comedian James said: “I wouldn’t say the show is glamorous, we are not glamorous, we hold it well but that is an act.”

Hem also admitted he would like to film scenes in his North Glasgow home saying: “I would like to film there.”

He then joked: “Whether they get cameras stolen is a different story.”

Dean added: “There is people who will say that is not real or that is not the real Glasgow but The Scheme has already been done.”

The cast also revealed that they receive a lot of unwanted messages from people trying to get on the show.
