I find the content of the response reporting the survey conducted with 148 people – a representation of two million passengers moved every week – and the inference of satisfaction portrayed to be incredible.
Punctuality and reliability constitute the worst aspect of a service, the deficiencies of which would occupy several pages of the Evening Times.
I find it difficult to comprehend how misled someone in such an executive position could be and that they should be unaware of the dissatisfaction with the abysmally poor level of planning and overall implementation of service.

I READ in your Saturday edition about the bad job the police are making of handling lost property.
How many people have lost something and gone to HQ only to be told it's not been handed in do you think?
And then, think of all the untapped resources that can be put to better use if not claimed.
It said that "better use should be made of computers to streamline the process for handling items".
Perhaps Strathclyde Police should get some further IT training for their staff, so they can join the 21st century like the rest of us?

I CAN'T believe the weather we have been having recently.
It feels more like tropical Grenada than Glasgow.
And everyone seems to be getting into the spirit of things.
I heard the terms 'Jubilympics' used by someone in work the other day, and even saw some bunting on a top-floor flat.
But I wonder how much of the holiday spirit will last for the celebrations in the coming weeks if the weather should change?
I can't help thinking that our festival spirit will take a bashing when the rain comes down on our parade.
