MOST people are still counting down the days to their summer holiday and winter wardrobes are far from anybody's mind.
But once you've packed away your bikini you'll need something to look forward to.
So it's a good job fashion types have already got the new autumn/winter collections sorted.
And there are going to be some treats in store.
Find flashbacks to the 80s with fake fur, houndstooth prints and biker jackets.
The ruffles and feather details that have been around for a few seasons are still strong.
Plus Scotland gets a nod with red tartan making a comeback in skirts and shirts.
And traditional winter staples of
muted greys and browns are highlighted with flashes of light blue and pink.
Also, prom-style dresses in bold colours and prints are still proving popular but must be paired with wild tights, heels and patent or mock animal skin clutches.
Designers pay homage to exotic places too, with Chinese and Japanese influences appearing in lots of collections.
Some of these treats are on sale now, others you'll have to keep your eyes peeled for over the coming months.
But they're definitely worth braving the winter chill for.
