DJ Stephen Kirkwood aims to end the year with a winter blow out after his best 12 months yet.

The 23-year-old, from Dumbarton, will be supporting superstar DJ, Eddie Halliwell at the Arches Inside Out XL White Party tonight, along with support from Arno Cost, Felix Leiter, Simon Patterson and David Rust.

The White Party is Scotland's biggest night for trance and hard dance, with people asked to wear all white for the winter-themed occasion.

Playing alongside Eddie Halliwell, who has held residency at some of Ibiza biggest clubs including Gatecrasher and Cream, is something that really excites Stephen.

He said: "It's the biggest gig in Scotland at the time, I'm really looking forward to it and hopefully these bigger gigs will get people to take notice.

"Playing alongside the likes of Eddie Halliwell is great, a real honour."

It's not the first time he has played at the Arches.

He said: "I played there two years ago at a Colours night and also Inside Out XL about three years ago, but it wasn't as big back then. Now it's one of the biggest nights in Scotland.

"The Arches is one of the best venues in the UK and it's always an honour to play."

He has also played alongside dance music giants such as Tiesto and Sander Van Doorn and had his songs featured on some of the biggest dance music radio stations around.

The producer-DJ has also just recently launched a new club night at Cheers nightclub in Dumbarton, called Octave.

However, Stephen has his sights set on playing much further from his Dumbarton home than the Arches with a possible tour of India and the Middle East lined up after getting his podcast played on Indian radio station, Tenzi FM.

He said: "I want to play more international gigs. I'm hoping to go out to the Middle East and India if my management can get things sorted."
