Here is what some of our readers had to say...
This is just the tip of a rather large iceberg, the bulk of which, lurking unseen, gives cause for concern.
As for First Glasgow's CONsultation – with no (f)actual future timetables available and only summarised generalisations about service alterations – no-one is any the wiser as to the full extent of these imminent changes, nor their implications.
I pity the SPT staff having to deal with the ensuing stream of endless inquiries when these timetable changes come in on May 12.

ALL First is doing is cutting costs and trying to dress it up.
In the last two years, it has cut buses on the No 12 route early weekend mornings and Sunday through to Thursday nights after 11.30pm from Rutherglen to Auchnairn.
It is cost-cutting – simple as that.

Yes, the No 90 will provide a link to the Southern General during the day. What about visitors at night?
The 90 does not operate at night. The Henderson Service 90 is an "infrequent" service, which is no use to anyone going at night.

I am a regular bus traveller living in Cumbernauld and working in Glasgow.
If I hadn't read your reports about the bus changes I would not have known about the so-called consultation.
I looked at the proposed changes and was appalled to see that they are getting rid of two bus services all together to Abronhill. Previously we had the X4, X5 and X80. The X80 was the express bus.
It appears that all we will have is the X5, running a 30-minute service rather than current 20 minute service.
I have expressed my views to First Bus but have heard nothing back.
