MEMORIES: Dreich Dunoon? Drizzle do nicely!

Wet, windy and grey - yes, it's a summer's day in Dunoon.

When the sun shines, the Cowal town is one of the jewels of the Clyde, but when it rains - well, it's time to dig out the Pacamac.

These holidaymakers were trying the make the most of their break but the weather gods decided to rain on their parade.

While dad, uncle and the two older brothers put a brave face on things and strolled along the prom, the wee fellow at the back was having none of it; wrapping his coat around his head to keep out the drizzle.

By the looks of his 'Kevin the teenager' slouch, he'd far rather have been back at home in Glasgow playing football in the street with his pals.

Never mind son, play your cards right and your old man might buy you a poke of chips and a lemonade.
