Glasgow needs more transport services not fewer, which makes the possibility of a reduced Subway a seriously backward step.
At a time when SPT have been talking about extending to the east end, is it really a good idea to reduce the existing service.
SPT should be taking steps to expand the service later at night and offer a full service on Sundays, if it wants to win passengers back.
After the removal of its rail powers and the axing of the Renfrew ferry, if SPT starts to lessen the Subway the travelling public will rightly question its ability to manage transport.
This idea needs to go back to the drawing board.
Cause must be identified
Clearly a lot of cash has been invested by GHA and individual owners in overcladding thousands of homes across the city.
The few householders who are now experiencing damp or condensation need to know the root of their problem.
Whether it is related to the external works or internal conditions a solution must be found, otherwise all the cash spend on these individual properties has been in vain.
