The state-of-the-art centre on Pinkston Road will take over all of the aftersales work from the current BMW centre on Kyle Street, in Glasgow, which will remain as a dedicated retail branch.

Features of the new centre will include a covered drive-through drop off and collection facility, a 24 bay workshop, wheel-alignment and MOT facilities and a luxurious customer welfare and relaxation area.

Guests were treated to an outside display by renowned stunt driver Paul Swift and an impromptu performance by the Secret Opera Singers, who turned out as a salesman and a mechanic.

Cameron Wade, dealer principle said: "It was a fantastic night and everyone seemed to have a thoroughly enjoyable evening."
