I really enjoyed all the coverage of the Olympics these past two weeks and was quite jealous of all the people down in London getting to be part of it.

I'm interested to see how the Commonwealth Games will compare when they come to us in a two years.

Let's hope we get the same kind of attention up here so that Glasgow will be able to create some more great sportsmen and women in the future, like Chris Hoy, Andy Murray and Katherine Grainger.

Who knows, that might have been the last time Scotland was part of the Games as Team GB.

IT is a scandal that City Parking is getting another bailout – it's as bad as the banks.

ScotRail has really got something to answer for.

You'd think after all the years of complaints about the state of the trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow during Festival time, it would eventually get it right.

I'm fed up of having to run for the last train back to Glasgow at 12.30am and then having to stand for 45 minutes, jam-packed along with all the other Festival-goers because there's not enough seats for us all.

We have a world-class arts festival right next door, so come on ScotRail, put on some later trains, or at least some extra carriages, so folk in Glasgow can appreciate all Edinburgh has to offer.

The news about energy prices being hiked in winter is like water off a duck's back.

It happens too often. We're used to the regular price increases.

One thing is for sure though, such rises would be highly controversial.

Britain's 'Big Six' energy giants are already sending out bills that millions of families cannot afford.
