This hapless bunch could not run a raffle but intends to throw another £2million into their disastrous City Parking.
All the members of the executive committee will bleat on about how it is best value for the taxpayer.
Well, I am a taxpayer and do not think it is best value for my hard- earned money. It's time the City Chambers had a clear out and had the councillors towed away.

Many, many thanks for my fantastic prize of tickets to the Piping Live concerts last week.
London may have had the Olympics, Edinburgh may have its Festival, but the week-long celebration of piping with the strains of pipes and drums over the city and the good weather meant that Glasgow also enjoyed a carnival atmosphere.
I thoroughly enjoyed my prize and can't wait until next year, the 10th anniversary of Piping Live, when the competition will be held over two days.

It is madness that the council doesn't provide decent recycling pick-up dates and information.
Could labels not be placed on bins showing that green is for domestic rubbish, brown is for soil and blue is for newspaper, not just 'hot ashes'?

I wAS delighted to read about the amount of money being spent at Braehead (Evening Times, Tuesday).
The plans sound as though they will make a long-lasting impact.
Improved transport to Braehead will also be very beneficial.
