Hollywood actor Alan Cumming has tipped his hat at this year's Homecoming Scotland 2014 by taking time out when visiting Perthshire recently to snap a selfie posing with the official beer.
The impromptu images were taken at the luxurious Fonab Castle - which serves a range of Inveralmond's craft beers - when Alan visited Scotland to open The Birks Cinema on St Andrews Day. They have been kept under wraps until the beer was more widely available in shops and bars across the country.
Described by its creator Ken Duncan as "an exuberant ale which displays berry sweetness on the palate and aromatic hoppiness, crafted to encapsulate the energy and presence of our incredible nation in 2014", the beer will be featured at key Homecoming Scotland 2014 events.
Available in craft keg, cask and 330ml bottles, export orders for the Homecoming Scotland beer have already been shipped to Italy and Sweden, while markets in Australia, New Zealand and the US have shown strong initial interest in the product.
The range of Inveralmond Brewery beers can now be found in most multiple retailers and the company exports its products to countries in continental Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific.
