We salute you Glasgow drinking holes who make an effort with your signs.
We are talking about you Soho on Miller Street and Gordon Street coffee at Central Station.
There may be others but these two institutions are totally winning in the banter stakes.
Here is why:
1. You tell us the truth and what we want to hear.
2. You know men hate to shop and are willing to provide a daycare service.
3. You are funny, you make us LOL.
4. You don't bombard us with Christmas messages too soon, we like that.
5. Oh the irony...
6. On the political spectrum, you are just pizza.
7. You made us chuckle not weep when Jason Orange left Take That. We could have been far worse if it had not been for this sign.
8. We are just glad you barred the creepy guy.
9. You know when we are needing something stronger after a rough day.
10. You speak the truth. We are so over them.
11. Sometimes you just can't be funny and even then it's funny.
12. You like to prank us, seriously this wasn't that funny. Oh maybe it was.
13. You just make up words - and it totally like works.
14. Thanks for confirming what we always thought. This totally justifies daytime drinking,
15. Another reason to drink cocktails.
16. You are so too the point in a very scary Taken way.
17. We were never convinced by Kelis singing about Milkshakes bringing boys to the bar.
18. Standard after a few drinks...standard!
19. Before Adele, there was Lionel.
20. Glasgow banter
21. Oh remember Madge at the Brits...
22. Cheeky!
23. So true!
