Viva Brazil is giving away free caipirinha cocktails to customers all day today.
The eatery in Bothwell Street is giving those who dine in in the restaurant the national drink of Brazil for absolutely nothing, saving them a tidy £6.95.
The caipirinha is the signature cocktail of the South American nation, made with cachaça, sugar and lime.

The brilliant move is taking place to celebrate Brazilian Independence Day which saw the South American nation break away from the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves in 1822.
Terms and conditions apply, and it’s only one drink person customer, which is ideal since it’s a school night.
