THE opening date of a popular Mexican fast food chain has been revealed. 

Taco Bell's first ever restaurant in Scotland will be opening it’s doors on Sauchiehall Street on Thursday, December 7.

The store, which will be operated by The Adil Group who brought Taco Bell to Scotland, will create 25 jobs in the city centre.

Ellen Gault, Marketing Manager, Taco Bell UK & Europe said: "Glasgow seemed like the perfect place to open our first store in Scotland and we have been blown away by the response from people across the country. We’re busy working on more stores and in the meantime look forward to welcoming everyone in December."

The first 100 fans on opening day wil receiving a free limited edition Taco Bell t-shirt. Three lucky locals will also win a year’s supply of Taco Bell and entrance to an exclusive VIP launch party, simply by finding one of three Golden Tacos hidden across the city. Clues will be revealed on the Taco Bell UK social media channels the week before opening.
