GLASGOW Airport is celebrating the launch of its new route to Frankfurt - by giving away free Frankfurters in the city centre.
In conjunction with Lufthansa, daily flights to the German city start on March 26 and give passengers the option to connect to over 400 destinations across the globe.
There are also five flights a week to Munich with the airline during the summer, so a celebration is definitely in order.

Those quick enough to grab a hot dog before they’re all gone should head down to George Square between noon and 2.30pm this Thursday (March 22).
Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so it’s advised hungry workers dash down as early as possible.
