LITTLE Josh Thomson could not stop smiling when he helped unveil a new playground alongside a former Rangers star.

The three-year-old joined former Ibrox full-back Arthur Numan in glorious sunshine at a newly completed Learning Garden at the Craighalbert Centre in Cumbernauld, Scotland's national centre for Conductive Education.

The new garden will help children with cerebral palsy to further improve and develop their motor skills while encouraging the kids to play outside.

A thrilled Numan said: "The garden looks fantastic and I know the children really enjoy activities in this environment."

Numan is a patron of the Rangers Charity Foundation which donated £25,000 to help fund the project.

Pat Salter, director of the centre said: "We're delighted with the Learning Garden and can't thanks the Rangers Charity Foundation enough for their support of the project."
