A 17-YEAR-OLD Glasgow girl who campaigned about the treatment of asylum seekers will deliver a keynote speech at Holyrood tomorrow.
Amal Azzudin, who featured in the film Glasgow Girls in BBC Scotland's Tales From The Edge series, will address a Young Women in Politics seminar.
She and fellow Drumchapel High School pupil Jamie O'Neill will hold a campaigning workshop' as part of the seminar, organised by parliament's education services.
More than 100 students from Kirkwall to Galashiels will attend the event, which focuses on the role of women in campaigning, party politics and government.
She will be joined by other pupils from across Scotland, including Brannock High School in Motherwell, Stewarton Academy, St Columbas School in Kilmacolm, and Renfrew and Castlemilk high schools.
