Job Search Live is a one day event so make sure you get the most out of it by being prepared.

Here are some tips to help you maximise your time at the exhibition……..

  • Plan your visit and do your research. If you only have a limited amount of time identify the companies you want to speak to beforehand. The Job Search Live supplement published with the Evening Times on Monday, January 7, 2008 will provided you with information on the companies at the event and the vacancies they on offer.
  • Dress to impress. Remember first impressions count, dress as though you were going to an interview.
  • Some exhibitors will be collecting CVs so make sure you bring enough copies with you. If you need help and advice with your CV visit our experts at the CV zone who will be happy to assist.

Getting There

By car:
From the South: M8 Motorway, exit 17, Dumbarton/Kelvinside, three sets of traffic lights. Turn left at first set, straight ahead at second set and right at third set, you have reached the underground car park.
From the West and the Airport: M8 Motorway, exit 17, Dumbarton/Kelvinside. Keep to the left fork. Five sets of traffic lights. Turn right at second set, right at third set, left at fourth set and right at fifth set into Cambridge Street you have reached the underground car park.


By rail:
Queen Street - 0.5 miles
Central Station - 0.5 miles
