The Dewaele brothers – better known as their alter-egos 2ManyDJs- are relentless.

They're back at The Arches for the second time this year, having wrecked the joint (as is custom) back in March.

Since their first Scottish appearance, at Death Disco in 2003, they've been back at least once a year, bringing their enormous Soulwaxmas tour to Braehead and curating their own tent at Rock Ness.

On Saturday, expect a tour de force of mashed-up magnificence, mixing classic rock and pop tunes with banging club beats.

Before that, monthly electronic night Processed Beats marks its graduation with its first night at The Arches.

Fast-rising Perth duo Clouds headline with their unabashed, full-on techno, alongside JD Twitch of the omnipresent Optimo.

A packed bill is completed by Mixed Bizness' HaHaHa, the residents of Black-friars' Italo Disco night Osmium, screaming synth warrior Roman Nose, Aberdonian indie-electronica peddlers IndianRedLopez, house rock duo Any Colour Black and bass-heavy hirsute dudes Ginger Beard Men.

n 2ManyDJs, Saturday, The Arches, 11pm-3am, £19.50

n Processed Beats (Feat. Clouds) tomorrow, The Arches, 8pm-3am, £10

When there's no Champions League kickball on, one of the best ways to spend a Wednesday night is at Bloc's superior alternative night Laid.

This week, agonising decisions will have to be made: Mancini versus Mourinho or a Glasgow versus Edinburgh hip-hop showdown?

Local drum & MC duo Hector Bizerk headline while the capital's Solareye brings his fast-paced flow to the show.

Butterscotchis on DJ duties, spinning vinyl and keeping the kids dancing until the wee hours.
