A FORTNIGHT ago The Arches' electro party Death Disco came in from the cold, bringing with it Crookers and its familiar sense of debauchery after a lengthy absence.

Now it's about to pull down the shutters on a decade of decadence – but not before one last spectacular blowout featuring some of the acts who have come to define the Death Disco sound.

The inclusive night has been responsible for some of The Arches' most memorable: they've brought names like Calvin Harris, Erol Alkan, Mylo, Hot Chip and Digitalism to Midland Street.

For this grand finale, Jacques Lu Cont returns to the club that made him reconsider ending his DJ career, alongside Jake Shears, whose band Scissor Sisters embody the glittery, polysexual ethos that has become the club's signature.

New Yorker Sammy Jo, Frenchman Fred Falke and residents Mingo-go, Johnny Whoop and Hushpuppy complete the line-up on what is sure to be an emotionally charged night for many.

l Death Disco: The EnDD with Jacques Lu Cont, tomorrow, The Arches, 10pm-4am, £10.

BIGFOOT'S fourth anniversary celebrations are two-pronged.

Next week they're tearing up Snafu in Aberdeen with Andrew Weatherall and Ivan Smagghe, but tomorrow they bring Frankfurter Christian Burkhardt to SWG3 for a Teutonic techno love-in.

The Cocoon favourite will be playing live through Bigfoot's Sasquatch-sized Funktion1 soundsystem, as will residents Wrick and Dave, and the warehouse's entrance will be home to an immersive installation by electronica-influenced visual artist Krysia Kordecki.

l Bigfoot's Strikes 4, tomorrow, SWG3, 10pm-2am, £8.
